Heritage Value
The heritage value of La Grande École as a local historic place resides in its original use as an educational institution. It was built in 1915 to replace a school that had become too small. La Grande École testifies to the importance of education to the new villagers and the origins of teaching in the village of Saint-Quentin. It was replaced by the Académie Saint-Joseph in 1925.
