Valeur patrimoniale
The heritage value of the Spalding United Church lies in its architecture and landmark status. The influence of English Country Church architecture is apparent through the incorporation of Gothic Revival and Tudor Revival elements. These elements combine with its stucco-clad façade to give the property a distinctive appearance. One of the first purpose-built United Churches in the province, the building has been an important gathering place for the community for over 80 years and stands as a landmark in the area.
