Description of Historic Place
3 Station Road is located on the corner of Station Road and Rothesay Park Road overlooking Station House in Rothesay. It is a 2-storey Arts and Crafts residence dating from the 1920's and is the only unpainted shingle dwelling on the street.

3 Station Road is designated a Local Historic Place for its early 20th century architecture.
3 Station Road is recognized for its unique architecture. The architectural style is rare in Rothesay as it is unpainted shingle, resembling the Arts and Crafts era of construction. It is unique in its exterior of natural shingles as all other shingled houses in the area are painted. The house is characterized by its wide veranda and mullioned transom windows. According to local residents, the house has “always been there” and the exact construction date is unknown.
