Connaught Heights Park is situated beside the neighbourhood school, and is comprised of treed areas, lawns, and tennis courts, all between London Street and Ninth Avenue at 22nd Street in the Connaught Heights neighbourhood of New Westminster.
Heritage Value
Established in 1976, Connaught Heights Park is important for its historical location and as the only formal park in the neighbourhood. It is valued by the community for its quiet, open space with a variety of recreational amenities and excellent views to the south and west.
The park is located on land once part of a power line corridor, indicating the area’s connection until recently with industrial areas around it.
